Tsubine had, unfortunately, been late last night. He had gotten back to the Eleventh Division a little after two in the morning. It wasn't the first time, but he was hoping that Lilith wouldn't chew him out this time. It wasn't like he was needed last night, right? The third seat was capable of doing a lot of his duties—well, he assumed as much. The third seat was an oddity though. 'Hime-sama,' as Tsubine occasionally jokingly called her, was just as capable as any member of the Eleventh. But damn if she was out of place. He was sure she was some sort of noble, or at least thought herself to be one...
As Tsubine looked at the calendar in his room, he sighed. It had to be today. He had scheduled what days he was going to visit his Captain in advance, and today was one of them. Tsubine could tell one thing about Lilith that no one else seemed to pick up on. She was, in fact, lonely. He didn't know if it was because there wasn't anyone who was a good fight for her or if it was due to her not having a man (or woman, based on some comments she's made) in her life. He understood just how bad loneliness could be, so he did what he could to relieve that loneliness.
Tsubine nodded a greeting to each of his Division members as he passed them. However, he noticed they were a little apprehensive. He didn't know why at first. He wouldn't know why for a little while longer. In a clearing of what had once been a training ground, there stood a house. Hand-built and sturdy, it was the only one like it in the Seireitei. She had made the house by hand, and Tsubine had helped a bit with some of the more recent repairs, but it was one of those resolute structures that rarely needed any. Hell, the most he had done was be a second pair of hands while Lilith nailed something. He didn't mind.
"Oii, Captain." Tsubine called out as he knocked on the door. "You in there?" It was late enough in the morning that she shouldn't be asleep, but still early enough for her to be in there. Granted, she could always have had an emergency Captains' meeting for all he knew.

| The morning had come and Lilith was doing the more feminine side of her routine. She ate breakfast, drank a lot of water, had an hour long work out, showered, washed her hair, blew it dry, and then brushed it back into a ponytail. And then, to the surprise of most, she put on a little mascara. (Yes, even on the covered eye.) Very, very rarely did anyone notice this since it wasn't a large amount, but it did highlight that piercing eye of hers enough to remind people of one thing: she is a woman.
It wasn't hard to sense him coming up the walk. She sat on the couch next to her front door and looked out the window through a small opening in the curtain. With half of her face hidden by the couch, she watched him from her semi-hidden position up until he knocked. Once he did, she let loose her reiatsu in order to crush him. Of course, this wouldn't actually crush him. She'd have to take off the eye-patch for that. Either way, she stayed like that, staring at him from her on-all-fours position on the couch. And if he did not notice, he'd keep knocking... until he finally did see that one eye staring up at him, narrowed in what was easily called... grrrrr angry.

| Tsubine gave no indication that he felt Lilith's reiatsu change. Was she really even here? No, she was. But without any response, Tsubine sighed. "Well, she must still be sleeping... I'll come back later..." And so he walked off to the side away from the windows. . . .
"Can't keep your eye off me, huh?" Came his voice from right in front of Lilith's window. In fact, his eyes were just barely peeking over the windowsill. That was a good thing. She'd punch him for the shit-eating grin he had on his face. He had seen her. It was weird, but cute in a way. Cute in the way that a lion still might get caught in a rubber tire it's playing with. He had ducked down, circled around, and decided to copy her in a way. She wanted to play the eye game? Fine. He'd win. He had two. "How long you gonna keep starin' at me, Captain?" | |

| The eye of judgement is what Tsubine was getting. Apparently, he didn't understand! Of course he didn't, Lilith had done this before and half of her face was covered by the window frame. She waited for him to return, but the way he did was humorous. His rising from the bottom until he was pretty much eye to eye with her was entertaining. If she wasn't so annoyed with him at the moment, he might have gotten a chuckle out of her. Instead, he got a fist through the window and a hand grabbing onto the collar of his shirt. Within a blink of an eye, he was brought in through her window, breaking it, and thrown onto a couch. She'd fix it later, so it did not matter to her and she knew glass wouldn't hurt him. At least is shouldn't hurt a member of her Division.
"And what makes you think you're allowed to waltz up to my home after being so late last night?" Lilith crossed her arms, glaring down at him, "Curfew is set for a reason. I will not have my Division late for training. You are to be in by midnight every night, excluding Fridays and Saturdays!" Lilith went over and stepped onto his stomach, arms still crossed as she pushed him into her couch. She wasn't trying to hurt him, but she did have a hard time controlling her strength perfectly and a lot of people knew that. "So, why were you out so late? Out of everyone, I expect better from you."
