Stupid green-eyed dumb jerk of a loser faced wannabe cool guy! If the thoughts of Kaminari Hatakeyama could be broadcasted to those around, that is about what they’d hear. If they could be projected in the form of an image, all people would see was her beating up Tsubine von Zarkonheinz. She’d punch his nose, kick him in the shin, pull at his hair, and pants him. Yeah, “pants” him. That move where you sneak up behind them and pull down their pants for the entire world to see? Yeah, that.

Luckily for Tsubine, and Kaminari as well, she had other places to be. She wasn’t ready to waste time in the Academy when she had been thoroughly trained for the last four years by another Shinigami outside the Toryoseiku. She’d do her best to figure out how to get herself out of that. But how? It was a little difficult to get information on the different Divisions. Anyone she asked filled her with random stuff about how their Division “is better than any other Division” and how she should join them. It was fascinating, but also annoying, to witness the amount of Shinigami pride that flowed through everyone.

Still, it did not help her cause at all. She knew she wanted a job that allowed her to get out of the Soul Society and kill as many of those white masked psychos as she possibly could. Yes, the annihilation (or cleansing) of hollows was her mission, so what Division should she go to? She knew the eleventh would allow her to fight, but the twelve-foot-tall demon of a Captain wasn’t someone she had the courage to work with or for… So, who?

While it was a nice sunny day in the Seireitei, Kaminari’s attention was elsewhere. Lost in her own thoughts, Kaminari had one arm across her chest and the others hand under her chin. Her focus was more toward the floor, not where she was going. Having been lucky enough to avoid most of those she walked by, her luck was bound to run out. (If only she knew how much…) As she turned the corner of one of the Seireitei’s many maze-built walls, her small body smacked into someone.

“Ow…” she rubbed her nose before looking up, a dully annoyed expression shot toward the one she bumped into. For a brief moment, what could only be seen as a bad attitude, was about to get projected toward some silver haired guy with green eyes that reminded her of him. However, her thoughts quickly came into order and she pushed up a big smile. “Sorry about that!” she said, a little overly cheerful, a fake-ish mood she brought up in order to ask a question.

“You mind helping me out?”

Apparently today was a day for Kaminari Hatakeyama to run into green-eyed people, in this case literally. Though it would also be fair to say that she wasn't the only one wandering around with their own thoughts. The person she'd just ran into was in much the same state, though maybe a bit more aware of his surroundings than she had been. He looked down at the young woman as she glared back up with an annoyed expression which was, strangely, almost refreshing to some degree. Genpaku Arishima didn't actually get many people who gave him attitude anymore, at least not in this specific sense. This probably had something to do with the fact that being a Captain meant people felt like they couldn't say much of anything to him, or Captains in general. Unless you were talking about close friends or other Captains that was.

Granted, Genpaku wasn't looking much like a Captain at this specific moment. Having left his Haori back in the barracks since he'd been paying a social call, one could be forgiven for not recognizing him and his position...if they weren't part of the Gotei anyway. Given the bundle of oddities that Genpaku was, he sort of stood out. He raised an eyebrow when the girl's attitude did a one-eighty though. She apologized and asked a question about needing some help; he get the impression she wasn't just asking about being helped back to her feet. That said, he did reach down and offer a hand to help her back up.
“I imagine that depends on what kind of help you're looking for,” he said, though he had already gathered an idea.
“You lost, or just looking for something? You seem a little new here,” he asked with a smile of his own. Then again, of course she seemed new here; at one of the borders between the Eighth and Eleventh Division, there weren't a lot of people that Genpaku didn't at least recognize passing around through the area.

The fake-ish smile faded for a brief moment when he held his hand out to her and was replaced with a confused raised eyebrow. "Oh, right." she said as the realization came and the smile returned, "Thanks." She grabbed on and was brought to her feet. With a quick brush off of her bum, she rubbed the back of her head and looked around. "I'm looking for a Division to join. It's kind of hard finding any good information about them when any time you ask people are 'well my division is the bestest division ever'." Kaminari waved her hands and crossed her eyes, making fun of the people she talked to before now.

"And yeah. I am a bit new, but don't think I'm a newbie or something. I'm just new to... this place." she said and looked around, waving her arms to motion toward the entirety of the Seireitei, "I know enough to put Seated Officers on their ass... Anyway, do you know what the Divisions do? I mean, are they separated based off of job or skill? I need to figure out where I am gonna be..."

Her exaggeration of other Division's members brought a small smile to Genpaku's face, but at the same time red flags started to crop up. It was in the things that Kaminari said that gave away that she wasn't from around here. Now, if her strength was more fact than boast it brought up more, not fewer, worries if we're being honest. Still, Genpaku didn't feel particularly threatened even by the bundle of red flags that was this girl at the moment. Chalk it up to one part her nature, one part Genpaku's confidence that at the very least he could handle things if they got rough.

“Where are you from then?” he asked with a genuine curiosity. How she came to be within the walls of the Toryoseiku was also a question that seemed important to ask, but he'd ask about that later. At the very least, she seemed to be genuine about wanting to join the Gotei, so he didn't want to scare her off with a barrage of questions right away.

Well, he certainly wasn't a talkative one. Her random spew of information was only met with a single, rather direct question. She stared momentarily, giving him a look that stood between bored and confused. It was like her brain broke for a moment, but soon she came back to reality. "Okay, okay, okay!" she waved her hands in front of her and then crossed her arms, "Don't freak out like the last chick who was all 'but she may be a bad guy.' If I was all bad and stuff, I'd be all spy-like and not tell anyone anything... At least I think... I honestly don't know, but anyways... I'm, unfortunately, from the Shojin..."

Kaminari brought her lips together and sucked them in, smiling and waiting for the look of "oh no a spy" to come on his face. "You know, that place where the Mikazuki are trying to be controlling and sometimes causing problems for you guys?" she put her hands on her hips and rolled her eyes at the thought, a sincere and almost involuntary gesture, "Yeah, I'm from there. Luckily for me, we're not all stupid. I want to join the Gotei, not those idiots. Ya get me?"

“Why?” Genpaku asked. Before Kaminari could really respond however, he held up a hand to delay her.
“I ask because, from a certain standpoint, the Mikazuki's goal is understandable. Short-sighted, but understandable. So what is it you're looking to accomplish here, with the Gotei, that you couldn't with them?” The question wasn't brought up in an accusatory fashion, but seemingly out of genuine curiosity. Part of this was Genpaku also fishing for information to help with answering her actual question from the beginning; what Division did she best fit in?

Granted, before that this woman needed to actually understand what the Gotei was about and did. He could understand, even sympathize, with why she'd want to jump straight into the Gotei and start working. It wasn't how things were done though.

What a nosy guy... Kaminari couldn't help the look of irritation on her face at that point. She went to speak, but he held a hand up to stop her and continued. She let out a relaxed sigh and stretched her arms before letting them drop lazily to her sides. "Well, kill hollow, of course. The Mikazuki have some things, but not everything. They're entire focus is independence and that's not something I care about. I wanna protect people from hollow... As many... as I can..."

Kaminari's thoughts trailed to memories long ago, her voice trailing along with it. When her train of thought got back on the right track, she lightly shook her head and narrowed her eyes at him. "You know, I'd prefer not answering anymore questions from someone who hasn't even told me their name... And I'm well aware of not telling you mine, but I didn't exactly go diving into your head about your goals and stuff like that. Kind of unfair, if you ask me..."

Of all the people in the Gotei 13, perhaps Genpaku could best sympathize with the reasoning the woman gave. He was also probably one of the few people who knew the kind of darkness such a mindset might lead to. She brought up the crucial bit though; that she wanted to protect people from the monsters. He simply gave a nod of acceptance to that, though he doubted she noticed since she seemed to daze off into her own thoughts.

She quickly refocused though, and suddenly shifted suspicion onto him which seemed more than a little ironic to him. If he'd been one to take things more personally, he might almost have been insulted; after all, he wasn't the one having come from enemy territory and skipped into the secure lands of the Shinigami then start asking how things worked. He'd at least had the decency to stay out in the world of the living until someone came and dragged him here. He didn't bother to say any of that though, simply raising an eyebrow at her comment.
“Ah, but to be fair I'm not the stranger here now am I? And I wasn't trying to pry, I was trying to answer your first question. Why you want to come to the Gotei matters a great deal with what Division you'd best fit in. Each Division has a different specialty and a different task.”

“Given you're answer, you're probably looking at Division's Eight, Ten, and Eleven. The Eleventh is the Division noted to be combat specialists; they mostly look to reinforce other Divisions when combat breaks out and that backup is needed, assuming they don't find the fight first. The Tenth patrols the Crimson Edge, and handle excursions out into Hueco Mundo itself to push back Hollows from the Edge. And the Eighth Division's task is to safeguard the World of the Living.”

Genpaku let the answer hang in the air a moment while she took in the information he'd given her before he spoke up again, his attitude having suddenly changed. It wasn't a shift to outright hostile, but the easy-goingness that the young man had demonstrated suddenly dwindled as he suddenly took on a serious tone.
“This is all information you should have known if you'd come through the Academy, which by your own story and actions you've proven you haven't. However, since I also haven't heard any alarms going off or the wall dropping, that means someone brought you in here. Having subsequently escaped your escort, that puts you in potentially dangerous territory. Honestly speaking, you could get in a great deal of trouble if someone else had found you. Members of the Divisions tasked with the Security of the Toryoseiku take their job seriously, and it is encouraged for everyone to do so to some degree.”

“You're right I didn't ask after you name, nor have I given you mine. If I'd asked for your name without giving mine, that would have been rude. But you had not asked, and quickly identified yourself as someone not from here. I felt it was better to, at least a little, get to understand why you were here and what you were like before I answered your question.” Genpaku's demeanor softened once more.
“You seem an earnest person,” he said with a small smile.

This interaction was interesting. It was so different than anyone else that she talked to. He was different at least. While he was obviously friendly, there was a... stronger demeanor about him and she was trying to figure out why. As he spoke, she listened intently, but her mind was working on a few extra things.

"You're younger than I expected." Kaminari said curiously, once he finished speaking. She adjusted her stance and looked at him like she figured something out. "You're not one of the lower ranks. I don't know how the ranks work yet, but with how you talk, I'd put you pretty high on the list. Instead of bragging about your Division like you're part of some club in competition with the rest, you take the guide role and try to help me out. More mature than the others."

"Well, my name is Kaminari. I was brought to the Seireitei by Tsubine von Zark-something. He took me to some Midori girl to get me checked out and then sort of went on his way. He acted like he was late for something, but did tell me to head to the Academy to sign up. I figured I could talk to someone to help me avoid the Academy situation. Going back to school again is not exactly at the top of my priority list... Can you can point me in the right direction?"

Genpaku raised an eyebrow at her first comment; that was almost exactly the opposite comment he was used to. He looked young, and was young by Shinigami standards, but few people thought he was younger than they expected. He didn't comment on that yet though, since she shifted her stance and continued talking. Eventually she gave her name, and who brought her to this place. He was a little surprised by the answer, but said nothing about it for the time being. He let her finish speaking before he answered her question.
“Why try and avoid the academy?” Genpaku asked once more with genuine curiosity. “Do you truly believe you've learned everything you can, that you've nothing left to learn? The Academy is staffed by members of the Thirteenth Division who have had decades, centuries of experience training and teaching members of the Gotei in techniques. Other Divisions pitch in on specific fields where their insights might yield yet more understanding. Plus, you seem to be looking at the Academy only in a sense of how, not why. It is one thing to know how to fight, but another to know why.”

He let out a breath, seeming to consider something a moment.
“I don't doubt you're strong; you've got a confidence and energy about you that speaks to that. You carry that blade at your hip like someone who knows how to make use of it. Given what information I gave you already on the Divisions, which one would you go for?”

"You're certainly a philosophical one, aren't you? Why care about the 'why'? If someone fights for themselves, isn't that their choice? If someone fights to protect another, that should also be their choice. Why does my 'why' reasoning matter?" Kaminari crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow at him, "What matters to me is the when, which is why I want to avoid the Academy. I was stuck out in the Shojin for long enough, training my ass off until I was skilled enough that my Master acknowledged my abilities. Once she did, I chose to come here because I was finally fit for travel. No reason to travel through dangerous territory without some sort of training, you know? That'd be stupid."

"So my question is when do I finally get to start? Joining the Academy would only hold me back for more years when I've trained hard enough. You can call me impatient if you want, and I am well aware that I am, but it's not like I haven't put the work in already. It's insulting to have to do it yet a second time. And to say there is nothing else to learn is ignorant and childish. I may have some immature traits, but I'm not foolish enough to say I know everything. Maybe it's just I prefer to learn as I go, not in some classroom being judged by a large group of people and some teacher who only half-cares about my wants and goals. Even the highest ranking people can learn, but I don't see them going back to school to for it. It's called experience. You've got to earn it."

“The why matters. It matters more than strength. And it helps, again, determine where you would best fit in. If you want to fight for yourself, if you just want to fight, then you'd best fit in the Eleventh. If you choose to fight to protect someone here in the Soul Society, then the Tenth or Ninth will best suit you. If its the World of the Living that matters, that puts you in the Eighth. Genpaku said, answering her question before she continued. He listened to her thoughts, and saw that she was going to be bull-headed about this. He let out a small sigh as she finished speaking, before prodding at him about a name.

“Arishima Genpaku,” he said simply, favoring her with a small smile by way of greeting. “And the point of the Academy isn't to waste you time, and the reason everyone is pointing you to it isn't just protocol, though to say that it doesn't factor into it would be a lie. Even the Captain of the Eleventh Division went through the Academy, its a right of passage and proof of your skills. Not just of your skills though, of your commitment. It helps you understand what each Division is about, the technologies and techniques we use in our jobs, and generally information that everyone takes as understood. It creates the common foundation that all Shinigami can work from.”

While Kaminari was a stubborn one, it wasn't always too hard to get through to her. She thought she'd be able to stand her ground against people who kept telling her to go to the Academy, but this guys words hit a little deeper than she thought they would. There were quite a few moments of silence between the two of them. She stared at him, blinking as thoughts ran through her mind. She went to speak, but her mouth closed without uttering a sound. She hesitated again, but then sighed and rubbed the back of her head in frustration.

"Even the Captain of the Eleventh, huh?" she closed her eyes in the moment of her giving in and shrugged, "I... Gosh dang it. I don't have a choice do I? Is there no test I can take? An exam that allows you to go beyond it? Is there anyway to shorten the time? I-I-I... I am good at kido. I've got my shikai. I'm pretty good at shunpo and I know a few zanjutsu techniques. I am not the best at Hakuda, but I know I can defend myself... I just..." She threw her hands in the air again and groaned, "I just don't wanna do all that again... Not again."

Kaminari moved over to the wall and fell back into it. She slid down and lifted her knees, resting her elbows on them, and then putting her forehead in her hands. "It'll just be more years of my life wasted behind books and sparring..."

“It's only a waste of time if you want to look at it that way,” Genpaku said, leaning against the wall himself. A pair of Shinigami wandered past, giving the pair an odd look but Genpaku gave a nod and sent them on their way.
“That said, of course there is a test. If you're as skilled as you say you are then you'll be recommended to take the exit exam earlier than the normal time; I doubt they keep you there longer than a year unless you choose to stay there longer. Given what you've said so far, I imagine you could turn the time at the Academy into intensive training into your Zanjutsu and Hakuda while checking into the basics of the others to patch holes you might see in your technique, or holes that others point out to you.”

Genpaku could certainly understand her reticence to go the Academy; he'd been rather dubious of the prospect himself when they'd told him about it as well. It had turned out to be one of the best experiences for him though, giving him the grounding in techniques and history that his experience in the real world had not given the opportunity for. There was a reason he'd opted to stay in the Academy longer after all.

The disappointment Kaminari felt was obvious as she stared blank faced at the ground in front of her. She sighed with her eyes closed before looking back up to him. "It still feels like a waste of time, but... will it get me into the Eighth Division? I have little interest in being elsewhere. My goal is the World of the Living, so... that's the best Division for me. At least I think so."

Kaminari was still reluctant to go to the Academy, but she was sick of the resistance. So, she got back to her feet and dusted her backside of dust before crossing her arms in determination. "So where do I go? How do I do it?"

“Yes, I imagine it will,” was Genpaku's answer to Kaminari's question about getting into the Eighth Division. It was obvious that this woman didn't honestly believe him about the Academy being a good opportunity, and he could understand that mindset. However, after another few moments she stood, set her arms, and had an air of determination about her. Seemed she had come to the conclusion that if the Academy was the obstacle in her way then she'd just have to plow right through it. He could respect that outlook too. He gave a small smile, a nod of his head, and pushed away from the wall.
“The Pathways of the Toryouseiku can be a rats nest and maze if you're unfamiliar with them. I'll show you the way. I can probably help smooth out some of the confusion and difficulties while I'm at it since technically speaking you're a couple days past enrollment,” he said, heading off the complaints that would have arisen if he'd let her know she'd have to wait almost a year to jump into the next class. Besides, if she was worried the Academy was going to be too easy, maybe starting from a handicap would keep things interesting for her?

“But no; if you can complete the Academy's curriculum and you can show me the diploma, I can guarantee you a spot in the Eighth Division.” he said as they started walking.

"Definitely a maze... and... I'm late, but... you can still get me in?" Kaminari spoke slowly as her mind was going thirty times the speed. She had a lot of things settling in her head, like the fact that she was going back to school. "I'd appreciate that." she nodded as they started off, but then realized what he said and brightened up. Her mind focused on that detail and as stars shined in her eyes and a tooth-showing smile widened across her face.

"REALLY!?" her voice shrieked out in excitement, the echo going father than she'd liked, but she couldn't help it. Without much thought, she hopped at his side and threw an arm around his shoulder for a half-hug, while on the tips of her toes. "This is gonna be awesome!" she said like an excited teenage tomboy, "I'ma fly right through this in a year. I bet you I will. Then, off to the Eighth!"

Genpaku flinched only slightly when Kaminari shouted, but he had a small smile on his face too.
“Of course; its my Division afterall,” he commented as Kaminari jumped up and hugged him in her excitement. She continued to talk, setting out a goal for herself. Honestly, if she was as skilled as she said he didn't doubt she could pull it off too. Only time would tell though; not much time though.

“I don't doubt it,” he said simply. He waited until she pulled away before giving her a smile and starting them back on track headed towards the Academy. Then he'd have his own paperwork to get back to.

They were off! She was going to the Academy and was going to get through it in a single year! Best part about it all was that Genpaku was going to get her in! It was his Division after all! ...It... was his Division after all...

It took a lot longer than she'd like to admit to realize what he had said. With inhumanly deep gasp and jump to the side, she leaned away from him in utterly silly, yet genuine shock. "It's your Division... after... all??" she mimicked.

Kaminari narrowed her eyes at him in disbelief, looking him up and down as if to size him up. "There's no way you're a Captain. Captain's wear haori's and aren't supposed to be guys around my age! ... Though with the weird aging mechanic that the Soul Society has, I guess it's possible. NO! Captains are old, scary, and don't talk to commoners like me... Who are you really? I can see you being a-... It's really your Division... isn't it?" She just gave in and pouted, arms crossed.

Genpaku stopped once the gasp and jump happened, and tilted his head slightly in minor confusion as Kaminari worked her way into her little diatribe. This was actually a somewhat unusual situation for Genpaku. While he didn't go around acting like a celebrity, it was safe to say that it was a rarity when people didn't recognize him. Not only was he somewhat distinctive in appearance, he had made a lot of waves in Soul Society when he'd appeared and consequently shot up through the ranks. Perhaps it was best to say he'd become used to being recognized.
“I did sort of leave my Haori back at the barracks became I ran out on personal business, so I guess I can't fault you on that,” he said in a joking way, though he might have been a tad embarrassed by it was well since he wasn't supposed to be leaving it around like that.
“But no; it is true, I am the Captain of the Eighth Division. I suppose it is worth saying that most of the other captains are older than me; I'm pretty sure I'm the youngest acting Captain. I think I'm one of the younger one in history too...” he explain, trailing off as he tried to remember that random piece of Soul Society history before deciding it wasn't much important.
“And I told you my name; if you really doubt me I can go get the Haori.”

There wasn't much that Kaminari could comment on after that. So she had ran into the Captain of the Division she planned on joining? In fact, by telling her what his Division was (kind of), he had convinced her that the Eighth was where she wanted to be. So everyone else she had spoken with before this was a waste of time! Annoying, but whatever. What to do now? The Academy! Right.

"Well then." she spoke up after a few moments of silent contemplation and then smiled like before, throwing an arm around the Captain's shoulders and leading him off toward the Academy (wrong direction). "Let's go then, future Captain."

Kaminari seemed to take a few moments to process what he told her before it seemed she came to a decision. She tossed an arm around around his shoulders and started leading the way towards the Academy...except she was going the wrong way. He let her go for a few steps before he swiveled them around.
“Academy is the other way though,” he said simply, with a small smile. He seemed to consider it for a moment though, disentangled himself from her for a moment.
“One minute; it would actually be smart for me to look official I suppose for this. Be right back!” he said with an almost embarrassed smile before he simply vanished.

Kaminari didn't actually get more than about six seconds of being there on her own before he reappeared, shrugging into his Haori. With that back in place, he led on. Upon arriving at the Academy, things went pretty simply after he made introductions and explanations. Her enrollment was set, and she was off. He was sure he'd see her in a year, and he was not wrong.

But a lot of things can happen in a year, even in Soul Society.

When that year came and went, Genpaku found himself in an interesting position. His Vice-Captain was taken off the board, and it was time to pick a new one. Now, by usual standards it would be his Third Seat to move up. Genpaku, however, needed more than simple strength in the position of Vice Captain. The Eighth's job was one that could be done by brute force, but only if you wanted to put everyone involved through a meat grinder. He needed strong minds in addition to strong backs, and those in the lead needed to be both. So he set about designing a test to find the best candidate. He was in fact reviewing all those who had applied, sitting in his office and figuring out the logistics of the test itself.

A lot can happen in a year, definitely, but it wasn't much more than what Kaminari expected. It was a year of sparring with people weaker than her. She was placed in advanced classes and that was more entertaining. In fact, she learned a few more things, mainly how to use her smaller size to her advantage. And pretty much that exact statement being said by a teacher was the talk of the Academy for a while, since Kaminari didn't react "well" to it.

Anyways, the day finally came and Kaminari had the certificate in hand! Not only that, there was an opening in the Eighth Division's Lieutenant seat as well!? How could the stars align any better than that! Well, a little too excited for that year being over, Kaminari decided to find her future Captain/boyfriend's office, since apparently that's where he'd be. After the eleventh knock on the wrong door, she felt she finally found it and knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock. Both out of humor and her own frustration!

And once he opened the door, there'd be a paper in his face, being held up to his eye level. "I diiiiiid it. I did it." she said cheerfully, then lowering the certificate to make sure this one was actually him. With a mental sigh of relief, she smiled wider when she realized it was. "Almost exactly one year later!"

The knock at his office door wasn't what you'd call a surprise to the young Captain; indeed, he'd had multiple people come and poke in about the events to take place later this very day. He had been rather tight-lipped about what exactly the upcoming test was going to be, since had been vocal about the fact that the Vice Captaincy of the Division wasn't going to get passed on in the method that was normal for the Gotei. Frankly, he was considering reshaping how the Division worked in general, but that was a different mountain to climb. Despite being the Captain of the Division, restructuring wasn't exactly smiled upon all the time. To some degree, Genpaku was also careful about how much shake-up he actually caused where things like this were concerned; being the youngest serving captain, he had a bit of an uphill battle on some things.

Opening the door to a piece of paper in his face though was something at least new. It took him a moment to place the paper as a certificate from the Academy and all made sense as Kaminari spoke up from behind the paper. Unbeknownst to her, Genpaku had in fact been keeping an eye on her progress through the Academy. It only made sense to him after all, considering her boasts of strength and interest in his Division. Also, he was curious and she was cute.
“Almost to the day,” Genpaku said by way of agreement. He turn around and walked back over to his desk. He seemed to rifle through some papers for a moment before he held up a piece of paper, which requested her transfer to the Eighth Division. It had already been signed and approved.
“Congratulations on making it into the Eighth Division as well.”

"Yep!" she brought the certificate from his face and fists down to her waist, "Down to the day, pretty much! Gotta say, I'm kind of glad ya made me go, but a lot of it was what I said it was going to be. Felt like I was repeating about eighty percent of what I had already been taught. The new stuff really was just the way the Gotei works, which I was surprised about in some cases, so yeah... I am glad I went. Thanks for that, I think, though... Unsure I had a choice no matter the Division." Kaminari scratched curiously at her cheek after her quickly spoken vent, dazing for a brief moment before coming back to reality.

When she came back into reality, she had another paper being handed to her. She took a look at it before she took it with a massive smile and glint in her eyes. With a high pitched squeal, she hugged it to her chest and began hopping like an over excited child. Of course, Kaminari added a spin to it too. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" she said, her spin stopping and charging him with a casual hug. Within moments, "this is your captain" came to mind and she backed off in a similar manner of the day they met. "Right. Captain. Respect, not friendly stuff... Otherwise trouble... Whatever 'trouble' is supposed to mean. I swear, there are some rules that are just weird to me, but I'm also weird. At least that's what people tell me, told me at school I mean. Wait a sec..."

Kaminari looked down to the paper, then back to him, down to the paper, and back to him. Paper, him, paper, him, paper... him. "You pulled me into the Eighth already. That's awesome, but how and why? Did I make a good impression or something? I figured I annoyed you. I annoy most people, so I thought you'd have me moved far away from you... And how did you know I'd graduate in a year? Or did you just take me at my word? Or did you just sign this a year ago? Or today while I was dazing out? I am so confused..."
