Kido: With expert levels of energy control, Kaminari has excelled in the art of kido. Accurate, well-executed, and energy sufficient, Kaminari is well above the level of a Lieutenant in kido. She also has the ability to use some kido without incantations as well.

Hakuda: Due to a lack of training and study, Kaminari's skill in hand-to-hand combat is lacking. She has focused her practices elsewhere, preventing her from advancing to an acceptable level. However, she admits a preference toward the sword and kido.

Shikai Abilities:

Kiyohana is an instant release shikai that creates a 100-foot diameter area with the zanpaktuo at the center. Within the area of effect, foreign energies are instantly nullified, preventing the use of spiritual energies like reiryoku and reishi. The inability to use these energies within the area of effect will also prevent the unsealing of zanpakuto and top the use of kido, kaido, hoho, zanjutsu, and hakuda, including the racial equivalents of non-shinigami.

The nullification of foreign energies also has an impact on the body. All statistics in the natural skill sheet are lowered by 15 to a minimum of 5. This does impact Kaminari, but she only takes a -5. Training within Kaminari's shikai can decrease this number by two for every thread completed with this goal. However, at least 5 rounds of posting within the thread must be dedicated to this goal for the character's training to decrease her shikai's penalty.

► Narrative Notes: The sudden change inside Kaminari's shikai is not without normal obstacles. These obstacles do not impact Kaminari. Depending on the character, the obstacles could be lack of good reaction times, dizziness, nausea, problems with balance, issues that come with loss of strength and speed, and not being able to take pain as well. Leaving the area of effect instantly returns energy access, but these symptoms fade over time.

Teiden is a massive expansion on Shiroi Ryōiki, the diameter increasing from a few feet to an entire mile. Every shikai ability translates to Teiden with a few changes:

► Shikai training translates to bankai. No difference.

Character Synopsis

Before coming to the Seireitei, Kaminari trained under a Mikazuki member, though she currently keeps this a secret. Even though she had the skills of a Lieutenant, Captain Arishima told her to attend the Academy anyway, something she doesn't regret.

After attending Shino Academy under orders of her now-Captain, Kaminari became the new Shojin-Brat that others did not trust. With the current events surrounding the Mikazuki and her having unknowingly attacked her own Division, the distaste for her has not lessened.

Friendly to others and open to anyone willing to talk to her, Kaminari intends to prove herself within the Gotei because she does not yet feel like she fits in. The few she does talk to do nothing good for her ego, as "Shorter Stuff" and "Pint-Size" are not welcomed nicknames.
