Gifted Abilities: Mark of the Guardian

Lilith has the ability to place a mark on someone she cares for. The mark looks like what you see above. This person must be willing to receive the mark, but does not have to be aware of what this all entails. She places the mark by cutting her hand, laying it on the skin of the one she wants to mark, and saying the word "練るNeru" or "bind." When the mark is placed, the marked one will feel a strong burning pain throughout their body, emanating from where her hand is touching. Once the pain is gone, the mark is complete. The length of this process depends on how much reiryoku the subject has. The more they have, the longer it lasts and the more painful it will be. Max duration, one hour.

The mark gives Lilith four abilities:
1) To sense the location of the marked one as long as they remain in the same realm.
2) To sense severe emotional changes they experience: rage, despair, elation, terror, etc.
3) To transfer wounds from them to herself to prevent major injury or death.
4) Upon their death, to teleport to their side immediately, absorbing their abilities for ten minutes in order to avenge them. The abilities she absorbs are only ones that the marked one was aware of. Lilith immediately gains the knowledge to understand and use these abilities as well.
5) The inability to physically harm the marked one.

Trained Abilities: Unless otherwise stated, she is Captain-Level in all shinigami skills.

Hakuda: Lilith is known as one of the "Three Fists" of the Gotei. This is because she is known for her skill in hand-to-hand combat. Years of intense battles and constant sparring with the best in the business has framed her into a master of hakuda. While her friends prefer grappling and throwing, Lilith takes a more straight forward approach an uses her skill to guarantee that her fists and feet smash skulls.

Energy and Control: Another thing Lilith is known for is her inability to control the monstrous amount of energy she possesses. It is assumed that the nature of her zanpakuto altered her reiryoku, but standing within her reiryoku is notably "heavy." It has been compared to diving into extremely deep water without any proper preparation or equipment. It's painful and suffocating. The problems with her energy is somewhat controlled by the device Touko Ishizaki created for her: Tengan.

Enhanced Durability and Strength: Assumed to be a reaction to her reiryoku, along with the many years of training, Lilith is an extremely strong person. She's not just strong in the ways of lifting a mountain, but more being the mountain itself. She's hard to move, hard to damage, and doesn't really take anyone's shit unless they have the power to back it up. Lilith naturally has a +14 to durability and a +7 to strength.

Equipment:

Tengan (天眼; Heavenly/Empyrean Eye): This small, eye-shaped machine currently acts as an actual eye and gives Lilith vision. It also acts as a dam for her reiryoku. Instead of it running freely, it's backed up to prevent her energy from overwhelming those around her. Unfortunately, exactly like a dam, when this energy is suddenly released, it washes over anything within range. Depending on who they are, a person can be completely crushed. Lilith turns this eye on and off by pressing in the iris.

Shikai Appearance:

Shikai Abilities: Whenever the spear is struck, the kinetic energy behind the hit is absorbed into the weapon. At any time after it has been hit, the absorbed energy can be released in the form of force. This force can be released upon impact, increasing the power behind the strikes the spear makes, or it can be released in shapes of energy, such as rays, cones, shields, and blasts. The amount of energy the spear can collect is equal to Lilith's tier -1 whole tier. So, if she's a 0-2, the spear can collect the energy equaling a 1-2. If wanted, all energy can be released at once or in smaller bursts. However, due to her inability to control energy, Lilith usually collects the energy and keeps it for one massive attack.

Bankai Name: Tachiken  (断地拳, Earth-Severing Fist)
Bankai Appearance:

Bankai Abilities: No longer a spear, but a pair of full-armed gauntlets, Lilith's bankai focuses the collection of kinetic energy inward. Instead of collecting in the weapon, the energy is collected in her body. The gauntlets provide armor and resistance to energy recoil, but are also used to focus the collected kinetic energy into attacks. This is is the same as her bankai except:
1) There is seemingly no limit on how much energy her body can collect.
2) Her natural reiryoku can be used alongside her gauntlets instead of having to wait to collect it with the spear. However, it's used at four times the rate as what she could collect.
3) She can manipulate the energy collected more precisely, shaping it to her needs.
4) The kinetic energy collected is twice as strong per-hit, enhancing what she normally gets.
5) Her durability in bankai is increased by 10.

Character Synopsis

As one of the oldest living Shinigami in existence, Lilith is known throughout the Soul Society and Hueco Mundo as the unbreakable shinigami. Like a few others in the Gotei, her name and reputation reach very far. To many, she's an unapproachable demon with skin that no blade can cut and bones that no power can break. To few, however, Lilith is a strong-willed woman with a kind, but walled-off heart.

In the past, Lilith lived her life one battle at a time. She measured her accomplishments by the number of enemies she brought down, but also by the number of innocents that were still standing when she was done. Her life goals have mostly been completed with the slightly-stable structure of the Gotei. Lilith was the first Captain Commander not governed by the bias and entitlement of nobility.

Lilith promoted Fuu Endo to Captain Commander after the Gotei Civil War. Years later, she regretted that decision when he killed the man she loved and was once going to marry. Before this, Lilith battled an Arrancar named Gantain, who was able to gravely injure her. In this battle, her eye was taken and she lost the ability to have children. Touko Ishizaki, unfortunately, could only fix one of these.

In current times, Lilith is the Captain of the Eleventh Division. She's friends with almost everyone she meets. She changed the diapers of a decent portion of the Gotei. Her best friends are Kaito Toma and Tsubine von Zarkonheinz. She doesn't like this annoying little pipsqueak in the Eighth Division. And above anything else, the most important thing in her life is Genpaku Arishima, her son.
