Trained Abilities: It's difficult to say any of Izayoi's abilities are "trained." She has gained her skills through experience, the desire to survive, and instinct. She has not been able to study the shinigami skills you normally gain at Shino Academy. Anything she knows is through guess work and observation. She utilizes her zanpakuto more than any shinigami trick.

Shikai Abilities:

Cybele: Petrification (石化, Sekika), gives Izayoi the ability to absorb the lifeforce and magical energy of any organic target in her view while transforming them into stone. As long as she is within five feet of her target and able to see their eyes, this can occur. They are turned to stone over the course of four rounds, this ability healing her over that time. Each round, their endurance is decreased by 25 percent, until it reaches zero and they are completely turned to stone. This ability cannot be undone if all four rounds are completed. If cut short, the person will slowly recover with at least two weeks rest. Healing, such as Kaido, does not impact resting time needed.

The Chains: Izayoi gains two chains that she fights with. Each chain has a spike as a handle that can be used as a dagger or stakes. Her skill with these seems supernatural, as they are too long for normal people to wield effectively. They are about one hundred feet and can be controlled through mental commands, however, only as an extension of what Izayoi can already do physically. This means that she must swing her arm to send the chain flying, but the reach of the attack is extended by her desires in battle. In short, even though the chains are too long for a normal person to wield, she can.

Blindfold: While it seems like she is blinded, she can see through the blindfold. It merely blocks her Cybele ability for regular combat.

Bankai Name:
Fukahirensa Kenkouka (不可避連鎖 健康化; Inevitable Chains of Becoming Wellness)

Bankai Abilities: Izayoi's bankai creates a small 200ft field with her in the center of the sphere. Those caught within this will have four chains shoot out from the ground and wrap around their wrists, neck, and waist. They will be rapidly pulled beneath the ground and have their life force absorbed by the chains in order to fully heal Izayoi. This happens within two rounds of posting. The chains fire out with the speed equal to hers +18, match her durability +13, and pull down with her strength +18. Breaking the chains is possible, but keep in mind that four of them is on each person. It's not easy.

Character Synopsis Izayoi joined the Mikazuki when her village was destroyed by an arrancar that somehow made it through the Edge. With little trained help to arrive, only a couple of people survived. The one who saved them was Kanna Hanashiro. Grateful and wanting to learn to protect herself, Izayoi followed Kanna back to the Mikazuki, where she's made some friends and trained her ass off for the protection of the Shojin.
