Character Power Set

Hoho: Out of all the skills that Shinigami train in, Hoho is the only skill that Shinji tries to master. He's not a fighter. He focuses on dodging and letting his shikai work.

Zanjutsu: If he must, Shinji will fight using zanjutsu. He's pretty average with the skill, but he can hold is own against most people around his level.

Kido: Shinji is an average Lieutenant with Kido. Nothing special.

Hakuda: Shinji knows the basics of Hakuda and avoids hand-to-hand combat like using it would insult him. In reality, he kind of sucks for a Lieutenant. He knows enough to have passed Shino Academy, but hasn't trained much with it since then.

Shikai Abilities: Shinji's shikai takes the form you see above and constantly oozes a green poison down the blade. Anytime the blade makes contact with the skin, it burns like acid, which can be translated to lowering durability by 2. If this blade actually cuts, the poison seeps into the wound. Once inside the body, the poison moves through the blood stream, lowering durability and endurance by 2 points per round, for a total of four rounds. Repeated exposure to the poison is what brings someone down.

Character Synopsis

Shinji is a tech-savy Third Seat of the Twelfth Division. He is a respectful man who is good at taking orders, but has no problem throwing some respectful snark here and there. He's got a calm and creepy demeanor, but his words often spit as much venom as his zanpakuto. It's hard to tell if he's joking, angry, annoyed or just... crazy.
