Trained Abilities: Kanna is a well-rounded Shinigami that has taken the time to study everything equally. While she does not "specialize" in anything in specific, her years of training every aspect of her being has left her an above average Shinigami. If Kanna were to put her own skills in order of best to worst, she'd place them as follows: zanjutsu, Hoho, Kido, and Hakuda. She has no ability with Kaido at all, though she understands the fundamentals as if she read it out of a book. The concentration on zanjutsu more than any other skill stems from the abilities she gets from her zanpakuto. She uses her speed and zanjutsu skill to stack her shikai faster.

Shikai Abilities:
Upon release, nothing happens. After five rounds of combat, Kanna's shikai grants her bonuses based off her opponents natural skill sheet. She gains half of her opponents two highest skills. When she takes strength or durability, the sword glows with red energy. If she takes agility or speed, the sword glows with green energy. If she takes a combination, her sword splits itself up and each will glow a separate energy. When an opponent is struck with a red energy blade, it will shred 1 point of strength and durability and transfer it to Kanna. When an opponent is struck with a green energy blade, it will shred 1 point of agility and speed and transfer it to Kanna. This means she gets stronger as her opponent gets weaker. If Kanna is in combat with more than one opponent, this impacts the person that she perceives as the strongest.

Bankai Name: Tamashī Resshō [魂函裂傷, Soul Laceration]
Bankai Appearance: See Shikai, No change.
Bankai Abilities:
Kanna's bankai instantly steals half of each (maximum 3) of her opponents natural skill sheet, lowering each of their skills by this amount, as long as they are within one hundred feet of her bankai's activation. For each round of combat, two of these points are returned to her opponents. If this ability maxes her out, the excess points are evenly returned to each opponent that they would have been taken from.

Character Synopsis

Kanna was once a member of the Gotei Thirteen. When things went very bad for her, including losing the love of her life and finding out secrets about him, she fled out of fear and heartbreak. She made her way into the Shojin and started a new life there. After a few years of watching the Shojin people be slaughtered, she began to understand their anger against the Gotei and joined the Mikazuki. Though she understands the Shojin's problem, that doesn't mean she finds the Mikazuki more appealing. In fact, she's just there to help and find a new place in the world.
