Character Power Set

Hoho: Isamu is probably one of the most skilled shinigami with Hoho. He focuses on Hoho for the sake of evasion. He took the time to master speed clones, Utsusemi, and Senka. He has even made up a few techniques to add to the arsenal.

Zanjutsu: Isamu is rather advanced in zanjutsu. Close quarters combat is where he focuses a lot of his energies, especially since his zanpakuto kind of calls for it.

Kido: Isamu practices Kido when needed. However, it's not his focus. Isamu is as good as kido as a Captain is expected to be. His ability with kido is precise, but not very powerful. While he'll normally hit his mark, the damage average.

Hakuda: Isamu is good with Hakuda, but that's about it. He prefers a weapon in his hand over using them to hit someone. He's got the skill a Captain needs, nothing more.

Shikai Name: Seiryoku Hankyō [Power Echo, 勢力反響]
Shikai Appearance: N/A
Shikai Abilities: This shikai gives Isamu the ability to make a copy of himself that is saved in a cloudy ethereal looking energy as he unsheathes his zanpakuto. Once too much damage is done or in the moment he feels he is going to take a fatal blow, this energy pulls him back and forces all of his cells to rewind to how they once were before. This move heals his injuries completely, allowing him to start over. He can only do this once in his shikai and he takes a -5 penalty to his natural stats.

Bankai Abilities: This bankai gives Isamu the same abilities that are stated in his shikai, but a few things are different. This can happen a total of six times. The first time is free and can be done without penalty, but each time after that, he takes a -2 penalty to each of his natural stats. If done multiple times in quick succession (without at least a 2 post cooldown), the penalty is doubled.

Character Synopsis

Isamu Gogetsu is the aggressive flirt and party boy of the Seireitei. He's got a bit of an ego since he knows he's pretty good looking and the women like that he's easier to approach than the Saionji brothers or his friend Daisuke. Many people don't understand why, but J. Saionji chose him to be his successor for the Sixth Division when J. became the Captain Commander. Those reasons stay secret for no one, not even Isamu himself, to understand. However, the strictness of how he leads the Sixth gives people an idea as to why he was chosen. As a Captain, he's more like J. than you'd think.
